Fluid Applied Membranes

System Description
Fluid Applied Membrane systems consist of flexible epoxy membranes. These systems are basically applied for water isolation in areas above grade. The new generation of membranes are also utilized is some instances for "crack isolation" under resinous flooring systems.

SCS Flooring has developed a total system package for shower room renovations. The wall portion of the system is comprised of a cement type backer board, fiberglass reinforced joints and epoxy coatings. The flooring portion of the system contains an epoxy membrane and a selected epoxy flooring system. This procedure can also include epoxy mortar to "slope" the existing substrate to new or existing drains.
