SCS Flooring Co. is a leader in the resinous flooring installation field, providing many types of service to the industrial, commercial, municipal and institutional communities. While resinous flooring and floor coating systems remain to be the leading portion of work performed by SCS Flooring, other types of services are also available such as expansion /construction joint restoration, reinforced wall coating systems, and stamped acrylic overlays.

SCS Flooring Co. is located near Homestead, Iowa and travels primarily throughout the Midwest providing these specialty services. On occasion our work has taken us to Florida, North Carolina, Mississippi and Ohio. Many of our clients consist of large national and international entities as well as state and city institutions.

The company was founded in 1980 by Mr. Roger Kirkpatrick and purchased by Mr. Bruce Brown in April of 2000. Mr. Brown joined SCS Flooring in 1983 as the Vice President of Marketing and Operations. Ron Blount joined the company in 1982 and is currently employed as the Operations Manager. Nancy Brown was brought on board in 2000 as the Marketing Director.

Resinous flooring systems are sought after for many reasons such as worn concrete substrates, chemical containment, static electricity dissipation, safety issues and over all durability. Other advantages of resinous flooring are keeping "down time" to a minimum and the seamless aspects for sanitation. Some areas that are commonly enhanced by the utilization of resinous flooring are, production areas, kitchens, food preparation, clean rooms, meat processing, locker/rest rooms, pool decks and heavy traffic corridors.
